A dealer offered us this little sake cup near Mashiko, so we assume that this was made in Mashiko, but other than that we know nothing about it. No-one has recognised the stamp, so it is hard to track down the Maker.
The dark clay is a nice contrast with the thick grey glaze spilling over the rim and the glaze has a subtle tinge of green to it as well.
