Iwami san cooled these quite quickly to keep the light blue colour in the Momigara glaze and the crackle in the glaze combined with the blues and grey make a beautiful tactile little pourer or vase.Iwami san likes to leave the making marks on his pieces and here you can see how they were positioned and supported in the kiln.These were designed as Tokkuri, so he assumed liquid would only be in these for a short time period, he is unsure how watertight these would be over a longer period of time if used as a vase, so please be careful if you decide to use these as vases.
