This glaze is amazing, even though it is only monochrome it is full of suggestion, it could be a reptile's scales, ice cubes or cystals, and the random lines working their way through the glaze draw your eye across and round the plate.

Meet the Maker:
Kobo Daidai
Suzuki san has mastered the bright blue citrus ash crackle glaze which shimmers on his pieces like the waves on Tokyo Bay, which you can glimpse from his tiny studio in Kanagawa just South of Tokyo.
His pottery studio has more guitars in it than ceramics, becuase he loves to tinker with them and mend them in his spare time.
