Another lovely ergonomic sake pourer from Suzuki san, but of course such a pretty and versatile shape can be used for lots of things. The slight orange tinge to the clay hints at Shigaraki clay, but it is mixed from several clays including Arita porcelain clay to make a smooth, refined, yet mottled and tactile body.

Meet the Maker:
Kobo Daidai
Suzuki san has mastered the bright blue citrus ash crackle glaze which shimmers on his pieces like the waves on Tokyo Bay, which you can glimpse from his tiny studio in Kanagawa just South of Tokyo.
His pottery studio has more guitars in it than ceramics, becuase he loves to tinker with them and mend them in his spare time.
