Similar to the Mikan Glaze Plates, these flat plates have a contrasting unglazed rim, framing the bright blue mikan glaze in his speckled clay mix. Available in two sizes (both diameters are about 1cm High)

Care Guide

Like all tableware and handmade homewares, our products should be used with some degree of care to help keep them looking good. We advise not dishwashing or microwaving these products.

These pieces are high fired stoneware and the feldspar glaze is very resilient so they should be tough, but Suzuki san is worried about the crackle glaze in the dishwasher, so he advises washing by hand.

Kobo Daidai

Suzuki san has mastered the bright blue citrus ash crackle glaze which shimmers on his pieces like the waves on Tokyo Bay, which you can glimpse from his tiny studio in Kanagawa just South of Tokyo.

His pottery studio has more guitars in it than ceramics, becuase he loves to tinker with them and mend them in his spare time.
