A very striking abstract pattern - just imagine it in strips as a kimono! Not particularly suited for lampshades, but it makes a beautiful and vivid cushion ready to liven up any interior.

Cushion covers be can be washed at 30 degrees, although that may accelerate any fading and the pad is 85% feather and 15% down.

Lampshades can just be vacuumed if they need any cleaning

Shimokawa Orimono

You can normally find Shimokawa san on Instagram (@shimogawakyozo) live streaming from his weaving shed. If you want to see looms in action, then that is one of the best places to see the actual weaving. Shimokawa san is an outward-looking adventurous traveller, who loves nothing more than talking and educating everyone about the intricacies of kasuri weaving.
