Kintsugi Keishugama Plate, White


Tanaka san uses traditional urushi glue and 22k gold powder, so the kintsugi is not as perfect and smooth as some others, but it makes a lovely contrast with the glossy lustre of the warabai glaze.

Because we use natural urushi glue, our kintsugi is actually food safe, meaning that it is ideal to be used as well as admired. It can be nerve-wracking using kintsugi, but to be able to re-use and enjoy a kintsugi plate is something special.
