A simple but elegant bud vase from the Hoshino kiln. Maruta san has named this shape after young bamboo shoots - Takenoko. This vase is twice fired, which gives the lovely mottled effect to the warabai rice husk glaze. Simple but elegant, this is a soft and versatile vase.
