Gosu Bellflower Bowl
Gosu is just the Japanese name for a cobalt glaze and the bellflower refers to the kikyo flower (also known as the balloon flower) which is a common autumnal motif in Japanese weaving and design. Known for its large flower with five petals gracefully arching out, Hiraoka san does the flower justive with these stunning bowls.
